A little about Team Ares Battery...
Cindy's Baking Angels would like to thank Kimberly Albright for referring her son, Justin, for our Angel support this month. Our Angels are looking forward to supporting Justin and his Buddies during their deployment! They will take very good care of them.
Kimberly shares, "Justin is the younger brother of a Marine vet. I personally think he had interest in the Corps before his brother even joined, but witnessing his journey inspired him to step onto the yellow footprints. As a child, Justin was full of energy; he was a track and field athlete for 10 years, qualifying for Junior Olympics 5 times. He was an avid gamer, as well (and still is!).
As a person, Justin has a heart of gold. He is always willing to help others and is generally someone who likes other people, even though he is shy and reserved. He is the type that, when he is comfortable with someone, he opens up and has a great sense of humor. He also loves animals and animals love him. Of course, I'm biased, but I think he's an amazing human being and am so happy that he has found his passion!"
"Justin is a humble guy of few words, but from what he has divulged, he is a Motor T operator assigned to the 1/10 Marines Artillery Battalion (Nightmare Battalion), Ares Battery," continues Kimberly.
"The description of his MOS is: "Motor Vehicle Operators inspect, operate, and manage medium and heavy wheeled vehicles in a variety of terrain and weather conditions to transport troops, supplies, and equipment in support of combat and/or garrison operations."
Kimberly adds, "Justin operates his apparatus, transporting Marines and towing the Howitzer."
Special Requests...
Kimberly writes, "Practical things like deodorant, chapstick, lotion, laundry pods. He loves colognes. Gift cards for a few bucks are great, as well. In regard to snacks, he likes Chomps, Legendary toaster tarts, Oreo Cakesters. He drinks lots of plain water, but also drinks Perrier (or similar) and sugar free Monster."
